The Marysville Sportsmen's Association holds yearly events
in an effort to promote good sportsmanship and introduce people of all ages to
activities associated with Pennsylvania's great outdoors.
Typically held in March to teach hunting tactics - safety - calling - shooting - history. Open to all ages.
All first-time hunters in PA, regardless of age, are required to attend and pass a Hunter/Trapper Education Course to be able to apply for a hunting license. The course is a 1 day course in March that requires the passing of a written test.
Held in June to introduce young people to the fun and excitement of stream fishing. Open to children under the age of sixteen (16).
Held in June to let people with all forms of disabilities/handicaps enjoy the fun of stream fishing with assistance. Open to all ages by special invitation.
Held in June to introduce people of all ages to the uniqueness and challenges of fly fishing, fly tying and fly casting.
Held in June to introduce young people to various forms of outdoor sports. Events of the day include: 22, Shotgun, & Black Powder Shooting - Stream Fishing - Archery - Nature Programs. For mentored boys & girls up to age sixteen (16).
Held in September as a yearly fundraiser. Open to the public
Yearly get-together held for members and their families - bring a covered dish and the club provides burgers/hot dogs/drinks.
