The Marysville Sportsmen's Association holds yearly events in an effort to promote good sportsmanship and introduce people of all ages to activities associated with Pennsylvania's great outdoors.
Hunter Safety Course
March 22, 2205 - REGISTRATION REQUIRED - All first-time hunters in PA, regardless of age, are required to attend and pass a Hunter/Trapper Education Course to be able to apply for a hunting license. Member Derby/Family Picnic
May 17, 2025 - 1pm to 5pm - Yearly get-together held for members and their families - bring a covered dish and the club provides burgers/hot dogs/drinks.
Kids' Fishing Derby
June 7, 2025 9am to 11:30am - Held in June to introduce young people to the fun and excitement of stream fishing. Open to children under the age of sixteen (16).
PerrY COUNTY Youth Field Day
June 14, 2025 - to introduce young people to various forms of outdoor sports. Events of the day include: 22, Shotgun, & Black Powder Shooting - Stream Fishing - Archery - Nature Programs. For mentored boys & girls up to age sixteen (16).
Special Needs/Handicap Fishing Derby
June 21, 2025 9am to 2pm - Held in June to let people with all forms of disabilities/handicaps enjoy the fun of stream fishing with assistance.
Angler Education/Fly Fishing Seminars
Held in June to introduce people of all ages to the uniqueness and challenges of fly fishing, fly tying and fly casting.
Pig & Beef Roast

September 27, 2025 4pm to 6pm - Held in September as a yearly fundraiser. Open to the public Ticket Cost is $12. Pork, Beef, Sauerkraut, Stuffing, Baked Potatoes, Rolls and more. Deserts by donation.
ANNUAL TROUT NURSERY RAFFLE
September 27, 2025 6pm - The biggest fundraising activity MSA does every year. This raffle benefits the operation of the trout nursery annually. Tickets will be mailed to all members in late spring. This year there will be 4 guns in the drawing along with various other prizes.
